France vs. the USA

I found this adorable blog, Paris vs New York, and I had to share it with you. Although geared towards the comparison of the two cities, I believe these cultural differences extend past the city limits of both countries.

There are countless books written by anglophones about the mysteries of les français. It's an obsession, really. However, this blog seems to be written from the viewpoint of a Parisian in New York. The author, Vahram Muratyan, successfully captures the cultural subtitles of daily, metropolitan life in a simple yet effective manner. As you may or may not know, I am in my second year of teaching English teacher in France. Therefore, I hope to capture and record on this blog more of these Franco-American musings as gracefully as Vahram. On verra...

  1. I found this blog recently too! It's SO awesome. I can look at these forever. I love Paris. I've only been twice, and for a limited amount of time, but I love the romantic, laid-back feel of the city. NY on the other hand, is so nuts, but I love it too. My family's from NY, and the city feels like home to me.

Thanks for your compliment. I really appreciate it since I am personally never satisfied with how my photos turn out. My camera is a Nikon D3000, it was a gift from my parents last Christmas. It's a gorgeous camera mais très cher!

  2. I really enjoyed this post! Most of them were too true! :)

  3. Thank you for your comment, I loved your post, so so awesome!

  4. these are adorable :) and so true! x
