Spooked and Hallowed Out

Ah, Halloween. The time of year that Americans anticipate more than Christmas these days. The time of year that "good" girls dress up in revealing outfits without the fear of being labeled a wench. The time of year where shoddily-made costumes will sell at 10 times the cost. Quite hilarious, right? Despite these things, I still love this "holiday" for better or for worse. For me, Halloween is a lot more about "Treat" than it is  "Trick."  I hate horror films; I'm not into the scary costumes.
"Treating" as a child: candy, Halloween sweat-shirts worn to school the whole month of October, pumpkin carving.
"Treating" as an adult: creativity in costuming,  being someone else for one night,  maybe be a bit more outgoing than usual, Reese's pumpkins. Yum. Yum.

Trick or Treat
Smell my Feet
Give me something good to eat
If you don't
I don't care
I'll pull down your underwear

Inspiration Nation: Chuck from "Pushing Daisies"

Here's to Pushing Daisies, a delicious show (in all the senses) that made every conceivable stylistic dream of mine come true on screen. One of those many genius, artistic aspects is Chuck, played by Anna Friel. Chuck's wardrobe makes my mouth water (that sounds weird, doesn't it?).
Take two= Chuck's wardrobe fills me with happiness.

In addition to the cornucopia of eye-candy, Pushing Daises is just a delight to watch. Not so long ago in a land not so far away, yours truly here remembers skipping college classes on a rainy day, only to curl up and watch the most delightful show ever.

OH yeah, besides Chuck's wardrobe making my mouth water, did I mention all of the beautiful pies (and the pie maker)? It makes me really wanna go to a diner to eat homemade pie. Apple pie, at that.

Farewell to Nashville Part I: Bobby's Dairy Dip

Explanation: I'm (God willing) moving to France next week. In a farewell to Nashville, I am going to local places that I've never been that are also adored by Nashvillians. Yesterday, I hit up Bobby's Dairy Dip on Charlotte Avenue after some thrift shopping with a long-time bud, Jordan (standing in-line above). As you can tell by the name, Bobby's Dairy Dip is known for their soft-serve ice cream and yummy milkshakes.

And now the outfit shots...
