Spring Has Sprung, So Why Not Strike a Pose?

Seasons change and so did I.
You need not wonder why
--"No Time" by The Guess Who

Both seasons and events have changed in the life of my roommate, and we needed to do some good 'ole fashion cheering up for her. Cure= dress up and go shoot pictures in the park and pretend like we are modeling! That's exactly what we did a few days ago.

We are both language assistants (she German, me English) in France at a high school, thrown together from different cultures and countries into one apartment, bonded by mutual confusion of French behavior.

She never wears makeup, so I gave her a petit makeover for the day. It felt like high school all over again, doing my friends make-up for prom.

Please look at the shoes! I bought them 3 months ago and finally got to wear them. Blisters are still on my feet because of that day!
Michaela was camera shy at first. Then she pulled this pose out of the woodwork. I said, "Are you sure you haven't done this before?"
Maybe she's moonlighting as a model and hasn't told me? German assistant by day, model by night.

Unfortunately, the clock is ticking, and she will be heading back to Germany very soon, and I will return to the USA soon as well.
So I am glad we have some nice souvenir photos of the two of us, uh, in a park, in the woods, uh, posing? Nevertheless, sweet memories from a sweet time in my life.

My outfit: Belt and Shirt/dress from Vero Moda. Shoes from Andre. Leggings and Headband from Camaieu. Earrings from Urban Outfitters. Smile from France.
